Elementor(エレメンター)の「アイコンライブラリー」でXとThreadsのFontAwasomeアイコンに対応
待ちに待ったアップデートがありました！ようやくです。ようやく。
当サイトでも、ずっと訴え続けてきた「XアイコンをFontAwasomeのアイコンライブラリーに追加してほしい！」という要望。
Elementor（エレメンター）のバージョン3.20.0～でようやく実装されたようです。
Elementorの3.20.0のバージョンにアップデートのアナウンスがあったので、更新履歴があったので見てみました。

アイコンライブラリーを確認
エレメンターでFontAwasomeのアイコンを使う場面はたくさんあります。
それゆえ、今までXやThreadsのアイコンが選択できなかったことにストレスがあったわけですが、バージョンアップによってどう変わったのか、早速やってみました。
もともとツイッターが入っていたソーシャルアイコンブロックを「アイコンライブラリー」を開き、「Twitter」で検索してみたら・・
ありました！Xアイコンーーー！！！！
なってる・・なってるよおおお（泣）
なぜかアイコンライブラリーではロゴがはっきり見えないけれど・・
きっとバージョンアップから日が経ってないせいだろうということで気にせずいよう。
自動で置換にはならないから注意
ただし、Xのアイコンが選択できるようになったからといって、Twitterの鳥のアイコンも選択できる状態であり、旧アイコンを入れたままになっていたからといって、自動でXのアイコンに変わってくれるわけではない。
すべては手動で修正しなければならない。
テンプレートなんて作ってたら、これまた結構な作業量で、もはやイーロンマスクに怒りを覚えるであります・・。
FontAwasomeのバージョンは上がったのか？
ソース画面にしてElementorが読み込んでいるFontAwasomeのスタイルシートを確認してみる
もともとElementorで読み込んでいるFontawasomeのアセットファイルver5.15.3でした。
ソース画面にして確認してみると・・
あ・・まだCSSとしては、5.13.3みたい・・
では、XとThreadsのアイコンは選択できるようになったけれど、公式にはFontAwasome6には対応してない、ってことでしょうか？

試しにFontAwasome6のアイコンを探してみる
試しにFontAwasome6でしか対応してなさそうな新しめのアイコンをElementor画面で探してみました。
まず、FontAwasomeサイトで適当にiconを探してみて、「New」になっているアイコンを見つけました。
対応バージョンが6.0.0と6.5.0と確認する。
次にElementorのアイコンライブラリー画面に戻って、このアイコンネームで検索してみます。
出てきません。
出てきませんが・・・試しに「magic」とアイコンネームの一部で検索してみると・・
あれ？いた。
検索に出てこないなら出てこないで「Elementorで対応しているFontAwasomeバージョンは5.13.3までです！」と言えたのですが、どうやらあるのとないのがある？ようです。
FontAwasomeのバージョンとElementorのアイコンライブラリーでの対応は別物？と考えた方が良さそう。
どちらにしても、FontAwasome6に完全対応される日を待ち続けようと思います。
